I have also wished for this, but I don't think there is a way currently. It's not in any of the settings. I don't think marking a user as a foe (which is entirely private) will work either, but you could try it?

I'm in the habit of composing posts in a text editor (like Notepad or Notepad++)---maybe that would help? (Maybe I also just revise too much.)

Perhaps a bit like Rose's compound example above? No one gets (systematically) abused for being a chaser.... I guess my willingness to take the protestor seriously would also have to do with whether they were also a trans woman.

I don't have triggers myself so I'm approaching this conversation as "how do I be a good ally to those who do."
